GREEN MEANS GO! Brain Function Boosting Smoothie Bowl

There are some days when the sun is shining, (belting out 35 °C and it’s autumn so it shouldn’t be!), your to-do list is beckoning, you don’t know what to do first, and clarity is what you are looking for. The time taken out to prepare and eat this simple smoothie bowl is the reset boost for your brain and soul you need.

150ml unsweetened Coconut Milk
120g Frozen Pineapple chunks
A handful of Baby Spinach
½ Tbsp shelled hemp seeds
1 tsp Matcha (green tea) Powder
1 tsp fresh Ginger Grated
2 ice cubes
Optional 2 scoops Tru Health Vanilla Meal Replacement


1 Tbsp Natural Coconut Yoghurt
Two tsp Almond Nut Spread
2 Kiwiberry Fruits
1 Tbsp Pomegranate Seeds
½ Tbs shelled Hemp Seeds

Place the ingredients, except the toppings, in a blender. Once the mixture is smooth, scoop it out of the blender into your favourite smoothie bowl. I place it in the freezer for 20 minutes; it makes for an ice cream dessert feel. I am adoring my Coconut Bowls Coconut bowl (did you get that!), it is great for portion sizing and it satisfies my desires to support innovation and environmental sustainability.

Get a little creative and arrange the toppings. Step back and smile you are about to offer your body a nourishing meal. Potassium, dietary fibre, Vitamin B, C, and E has never looked so good! Let me know what other toppings you would add in the comments below.
