Health is more than what’s on your plate, regular exercise or how much sleep you have. Yes, these are important factors, but relationships, career, and spirituality are just as important to your health as the food you eat. The combination of yummy nutrient filled food and nourishment from non-food forms allow us to lead a healthy and vibrant life.
Think back to when you were a child, you played outside and your parents would have to scream for you to come in and eat. You were too busy having fun; food was the last thing on your mind. What about a time when you were so in love, gushing with all those romantic feelings, had a complete connection with someone and nothing could wane your attention, not even a chocolate bar. Or those times when you are enjoying the company of family or friends that you don’t notice the hours passing by. These are times we feel nourished because more than our bellies were filled.
As a Health Coach, I know how to help you hold your needs and desires foremost while considering the bigger picture of life. I do not diagnose, prescribe medication, treat, or take responsibility for bringing about the changes in my client’s life: instead I work with my clients to develop self-awareness about what trips her up, and to know how to apply self-care and mind-body techniques to short circuit unwanted bad habits and create new sustainable ones. On the sidelines, I guide my clients as they stretch and learns how to create space to encounter profound realisations. And “ah-ha’ moment experiences that entrench into her imagination and psyche to become tools she can draw upon to enhance the quality of her life.
I adore being an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, and I am filled with joy when clients begin a holistic journey bringing into focus health, wellness, life purpose, meaning, optimism, belonging, community and spiritual connection.
